Yateley Angling Centre Celebrates
18th Birthday In Style
Yateley Angling Centre is celebrating 18yrs in business, with the announcement of expansion to its current premises. The acquisition of a 3rd unit at the original location in the heart of Yateley has been designed to accommodate the addition of a separate session angling “boutique”, in turn facilitating a wider range of tackle & bait in the main store.
The recent changes over Winter months have enabled an extension of product ranges and services for customers, both instore and online. The additional space also provides increased storage and the welcome removal of the “back room” workings, like goods inwards and mail orders from the shop floor.
“We’ve taken the feedback and recommendations from our customers and implemented those changes to create a more pleasurable retail experience for them,” said Ruth Lockwood, proprietor.
“Customers are now able to view our huge ranges of clothing, luggage and night fishing equipment, such as bivvies and bedchairs etc at their leisure. This has allowed us to increase the overall brand portfolio to accommodate a wider range of specimen fishing tackle, whilst increasing services and products specifically tailored to the needs of the local community”
Recent developments to the business also include the addition of integrated online shopping service, offering “live” stock figures and entry level initiatives such as Yateley Angling Academy, featuring programmes and activities throughout the Summer season designed to encourage people of all ages to try angling and offer an opportunity to improve skills and techniques to others.
