CEMEX Angling Plus Open Day at Yateley Angling Centre

CEMEX Angling Plus are to hold an Open Day at Yateley Angling Centre on 9th July 2009, between 4pm - 8pm.

On the day anglers will have access to an exclusive offer:

Buy 48 hours on Yateley Sandhurst Lake and pay for only 24 hours! Tickets must be purchased from Yateley Angling Centre on the open day of 9th July 2009 and the 'free 24 hours' must be taken between Friday 10th July 2009 - Thursday 16th July 2009.

Yateley Sandhurst Lake is only available to CEMEX Angling Plus members and anyone who is not already a member can sign-up on the day to take advantage of this exclusive offer!

Sandhurst Lake is the youngest lake on the Yateley complex and is situated to the east of the complex. It has become the most well known, however, due to the fantastic day ticket fishing it provides. A relatively shallow lake with depths from 2 to 10ft, with an average of approximately 5ft, there is one island from which fishing is permitted. Numerous sand bars and features are easily located from a choice of more than 28 swims.

Some 400 carp are present in the fishery, the majority resulting from a 1998 stocking of fish averaging some 3lb in weight. These young fish now average over the 20lb mark and there are stacks of 25lb-plus fish and quite literally dozens of 30s with more and more coming through every season.

Very few day ticket waters give you the chance of a 40lb carp, but the Sandhurst venue record currently stands at 42lb+ with several more over 40lb, giving day ticket anglers the best opportunity to bank the biggest day ticket carp in the country.
